Call history in Google My Business

Hi Folks,

Today we are here to let you know about the new experimental feature of Google My Business "Call History".

What is Call History in Google My Business?

Call history in Google My Business is currently an experimental feature and only available for a select group of businesses in the US only.

Here, Businesses can keep track of phone calls from their customers on google search and maps. This feature helps businesses respond to missed calls and engaged with their customer, call history keeps all call details in one place.

How call history works?

When customers tap on the call button on your google business profile, their call will show under calls tabs in google my business. Under the calls section, you will information like recent calls, missed calls, etc.

Once call history is on, customers connect to you through a forwarding number instead of through the number on your profile. At the start of a call, you’ll get an automated message that says, “Call from Google.”

How To Turn on Call History?
